At launch, Dots are available only to subscribers of OpenAI's Pro plan, which starts at $100 per month. Users can currently access one Dot, with support for multiple Dots coming soon.
Sam Altman said OpenAI is starting Dots as a premium product and that a mass-market version for billions of people should be expected.
In October 2025, Meta's Muse agent was free to use for anyone who downloads the app or visits the website. Silicon Valley early adopters have been focused on agents including Instinct, OpenClaw and Google's CC.
