OpenAI to bring GPT models to Google Cloud within weeks

Google will add OpenAI's GPT models to its Model Garden marketplace and Antigravity coding tool, CNBC reports, completing OpenAI's presence on all three major US clouds.

OpenAI will make its GPT models available to developers on Google Cloud, with Google set to add the models to its Model Garden marketplace and its Antigravity coding tool within a few weeks, according to CNBC.

The arrangement means OpenAI's models will be offered on all three major US cloud services. OpenAI already distributes its models through Microsoft and AWS.

In a blog post, OpenAI said Google Cloud has become a destination for developers and data scientists building AI workloads.

Google Cloud customers will be able to reach the GPT models through Model Garden, the company's marketplace for AI models, and through Antigravity, its coding tool.

In the previous year, the two companies announced a partnership to run OpenAI's ChatGPT and API on Google Cloud.
