Pebble Flow 2027 Adds 4 kW Solar, Towing Boost Mode
Pebble's 2027 Flow electric travel trailer gains up to 4 kW of solar charging, a 54 hp towing-assist boost setting, and twin beds. Prices start at $159,000.
Pebble has announced a 2027 update to the Pebble Flow, its electric travel trailer, adding solar charging of up to 4 kW, a towing-assist boost setting, twin bed options and newer automation software, according to Ars Technica.
The 2027 Flow can be charged by solar panels totaling up to 4 kW. That figure includes a new 2 kWh set of four portable panels, which joins the 1.1 kWh roof panel option that earlier Pebble Flow models could be specced with.
Propulsion and power hardware carry over from the existing design: a 45 kWh LFP battery pack that is bidirectional with up to 12 kW output, enough to charge an EV. The trailer supports AC charging at up to 6.6 kW and DC fast charging from 0 to 80 percent in under an hour. In-wheel electric motors allow regenerative braking of up to 42 kW, and a new 2027 boost setting provides 54 hp (40 kW) of towing assistance. Gross vehicle weight is 6,800 lbs.
On the automation side, an onboard Nvidia Orin processor and four surround cameras let the trailer self-couple to a hitch ball and be parked remotely via an iPad app. The black water tank dumping process can also be activated remotely.
The 2027 model offers an option of twin beds that convert to a king. The Pebble Flow starts at $159,000 for the Magic Pack and $189,000 for the Founders Edition.
An electric camper niche still forming
The Pebble Flow was introduced in 2025. Other manufacturers have shown electric camper concepts, among them Kia a couple of years before the article and Winnebago, while Volkswagen is adding a camper trim to its electric ID. Buzz. Colorado Teardrop, an electrified trailer maker, did not survive.
