Pixel phones won't pair with new Googlebooks, users report
Reddit users and Android Authority staff say Pixel 9 and Pixel 11 phones fail to pair with Googlebooks, and factory resets don't help.
Owners of the new Googlebook are reporting that their Pixel phones cannot be paired with the device, according to Android Authority. The reports come from Reddit users as well as two members of the Android Authority team, who say their own Pixels also failed to pair with a Googlebook.
The affected phones include the Pixel 9 Pro XL, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Factory resetting the Googlebooks did not resolve the pairing problem for those reporting it.
One potential fix mentioned in the reports is updating system services on the Googlebook. It is not clear from the reports whether that step resolves the issue in every case.
