Pixel Weather Update Adds Widget Refresh Button
Pixel Weather's Forecasted weather widget now has a refresh button in the top-right corner. Version 1.1.20260716.x is rolling out via the Play Store.
Google has updated Pixel Weather with a small but useful change: the Forecasted weather widget now includes a refresh button. It sits in the top-right corner of the widget.
Tapping the button shows a spinner while new data loads, giving users a manual way to pull the latest forecast without waiting for an automatic update.
The update also removes the left and right scroll buttons from the Hourly and 10-day forecast cards in the city feed. Those cards no longer carry the directional controls.
Version 1.1.20260716.x of Pixel Weather has rolled out via the Play Store, as reported by 9to5google.com. The same report notes that Pixel Weather and Recorder will be available on all Googlebooks going forward.
