Plex Adds Fandango Ticketing for US Movie Theater Users

US Plex users can now buy theater tickets from movie title pages through a Fandango integration that uses Kochava for attribution.

Plex has partnered with Fandango to let users in the US buy movie theater tickets from Plex title pages, the companies said on October 15, 2026.

The Fandango ticketing option appears on title pages for movies currently playing in theaters and links to Fandango for showtimes and ticket purchase. Fandango says it sells tickets for 31,000 movie theater screens in the US.

The integration uses Kochava for direct attribution, giving studios and advertisers visibility into how campaigns translate into ticket sales. Fandango says the deal lets it use Plex data including ratings and cross-platform viewing to gain insight into audience intent.

Plex claims users of its streaming service make more than 100 million streaming decisions each month. Fandango has sold movie tickets since 2000.
