POSCO DX Invests 2 Billion Won in AI Startup Inhance, Signs Agent MOU

POSCO DX made the investment through a corporate venture capital fund it set up jointly with POSCO Technology Investment.

POSCO DX has invested 2 billion won in the AI startup Inhance through a corporate venture capital fund jointly established with POSCO Technology Investment, according to ZDNet Korea. The two companies also signed a memorandum of understanding to build AI agents specialized for work execution.

Inhance develops AgentOS, an ontology-based enterprise AI operating system. Under the agreement, the companies plan to combine POSCO DX's industrial domain expertise with Inhance's ontology technology to develop AI solutions tailored to the steel and logistics sectors.

POSCO Group previously applied Inhance's AgentOS to group office tasks to verify its effectiveness, and is reviewing the development of AI agents for financial profitability analysis. POSCO DX has also said it plans to pursue strategic investments this year in industrial humanoid robots and domestic AI semiconductor startups.
