Valve Ships Proton 11.0-2e and Opens Proton 11.0-3 RC Testing

The stable 11.0-2e update fixes EA App login focus issues under Gamescope, while the 11.0-3 RC adds playable support for Hero Plus, City Car Driving and more.

Valve released Proton 11.0-2e as a normal stable update for SteamOS and Linux, and opened public testing for the Proton 11.0-3 Release Candidate, according to gamingonlinux.com.

The 11.0-2e update addresses two issues with the EA App. It fixes the launcher login window not being focused properly when Gamescope is in use, and it corrects EA App titles displaying the wrong splash image.

The Proton 11.0-3 Release Candidate adds playable support for several titles, including Hero Plus, City Car Driving, Soul Land: Awakening World, Bloody Zombies and Aniimo.

The RC also improves controller support for Far Cry New Dawn, Binding of Isaac: Rebirth and Split/Second when Steam Input is enabled. It additionally fixes Helldivers 2 failing to launch after a recent game update, and resolves the Final Fantasy XIV launcher not working on the Steam Frame.
