Razer unveils Kraken Kitty V3 wired RGB headset

The cat-ear headset is on sale now via Razer.com and RazerStore worldwide, with a Japanese launch set for December at 17,580 yen.

Razer announced the wired RGB headset Razer Kraken Kitty V3 on October 22. The headset is already on sale through Razer.com, RazerStore and some retailers worldwide, according to news.denfaminicogamer.jp.

The Kraken Kitty V3 keeps the series' signature RGB-lit cat ears and adds RGB lighting on the ear cups, with 16.8 million colors handled by Razer Chroma RGB. Three onboard lighting presets let users switch colors and effects without connecting to a PC.

Audio hardware includes Razer TriForce 40mm drivers and the Razer HyperClear Cardioid Mic. The ear cushions combine fabric and leatherette and are designed for passive noise isolation.

Connection is through a fixed USB Type-C cable, with plug-and-play use on PCs and mobile devices. The Razer Streamer Companion app can change the lighting in response to alerts, emotes and chat activity.

Japan release in December

In Japan the headset is scheduled to launch in December at 17,580 yen including tax. The Kraken Kitty line is an existing cat-ear headset family from Razer, a company founded in 2005 and headquartered in Irvine, California and Singapore.
