Rhythm launches MIST Mini 2 pool-less desktop humidifier

Rhythm released the MIST Mini 2, a compact ultrasonic pool-less desktop humidifier, on October 16, 2026. The open price is 6,980 yen as an estimated market price.

The new model inherits the size and design of the original MIST Mini and adopts the pool-less structure used across the MIST series. Four parts — the main body, top cover, inner cover and floating booster — can be removed without tools and washed whole. A patent-pending tank drying function blows air into the tank after washing.

The body measures 90 x 99 x 207 mm and holds about 350 ml of water. Humidification capacity reaches about 100 ml per hour in Hi mode, and the applicable floor area is about 2.8 tatami for a prefab Western room and about 1.7 tatami for a wooden Japanese room. It offers Hi, Low and Fog modes, with minimum operating noise of about 23 dB.

Switching it on starts humidification with a warm-colored light as mist accumulates in the tank. Light brightness adjusts in three levels, and the light can be used on its own without humidifying. The rear has an aroma pocket, and the unit can work as an aroma diffuser without water using its fan.

The humidifier uses ultrasonic room-temperature mist, which the company says avoids the burn risk associated with heat, and it has no water-absorbing wick or vaporizing filter requiring periodic replacement. The body weighs about 410 g, and power consumption is about 14 W in Hi, 8.3 W in Low, 3.8 W in Fog and 0.2 W on standby. Hourly electricity cost is about 0.43 yen in Hi, 0.26 yen in Low and 0.12 yen in Fog. The power cord measures 1.5 m, and three dedicated oil pads are included.
