Register.si's live counter recorded 19,541 new .si domain names registered in the previous 24 hours on October 9, 2026, according to techradar.com, as interest in Slovenia's country-code domain continued into a second week.
Data from Hostinger's dashboard covering nine days showed customers in India registered 3,174 .si names, narrowly ahead of 3,135 from the United States. Morocco ranked third on Hostinger's country table with 678 registrations.
Hostinger said it handled roughly two in five new .si names on September 30 and October 1, 2026, and that its sales peaked on October 5 before cooling to about four times pre-order levels. Among classified .si registrations on the platform, short names led with 1,554, followed by tech-themed names at 1,040 and AI-themed names at 372.
Registry figures show the surge building quickly: Register.si recorded 4,115 registrations on September 29, 11,331 on September 30 and 12,728 on October 1.
What buyers are doing with the names
Netcraft found that just over half of the .si names it saw registered at Dynadot between Trump's Truth Social poll and his UN speech were promptly listed on Dynadot's resale marketplace. Netcraft also found 87 .com names pairing brands with 'superintelligence', registered hours before the order was signed and listed at $20,000 each, with no evidence any had sold.
