Z-3 ver.2 supports USS, RAAT, DLNA and UPnP, and is certified Roon Ready, handling PCM up to 768kHz/32bit and DSD up to 22.6MHz. Z-3X is dedicated to USS. The R-3 is a Roon server with a built-in 1TB SSD and USS protocol output.
The USS protocol was jointly developed by SFORZATO and SOULNOTE for sending digital audio over LAN cables such as RJ45.
