Toss to Notify Users of Unused Toss Money Balances Yearly
Viva Republica will alert customers holding 1,000 won or more of Toss Money with no activity for two years, starting October 15.
Viva Republica, the company behind the mobile financial platform Toss, announced on October 15 that it will regularly notify customers about unused prepaid Toss Money balances, according to digitaltoday.co.kr.
The notifications will target customers whose Toss Money balance is at least 1,000 won and who have had no charging or usage activity for more than two years. The alerts will be sent at least once a year, exclusively through Toss app push notifications.
Customers can move any amount they choose from their Toss Money balance to their own bank account immediately, with no paperwork and no waiting period.
Toss Money carries no expiration date, so a balance remains available even if it goes unused for a long time.
