TVer and Fuji TV launch TVer ID Payment with FOD as first partner

TVer ID Payment lets users pay for partner services with the credit card registered to their TVer ID, starting with FOD subscription plans.

TVer and Fuji Television launched TVer ID Payment, a payment service that uses a TVer ID, on October 22, 2026, according to k-tai.watch.impress.co.jp. The first partner is FOD, Fuji Television's video streaming service.

TVer ID Payment lets users pay for partner services' products and fees using the credit card registered to their TVer ID. Eligible FOD plans can now be paid through the service.

TVer and Fuji Television say the service is meant to link finding a program to purchasing and subscribing to paid plans.

Products and services contracted through TVer ID Payment are provided by each partner business. Using the service does not make TVer's free content paid and does not add new paid features to TVer itself.

TVer said it plans to expand the products and services covered by TVer ID Payment in stages by strengthening ties with broadcasters and content businesses.
