TVING Tops September App Growth With 1.84 Million New Users
IGAWorks Mobile Index's October 2026 report says TVING led domestic mobile app user growth in September, ahead of ChatGPT's 890,000 gain.
TVING posted the largest user increase among domestic mobile apps in September, according to the October 2026 popular app and game ranking report from IGAWorks Mobile Index. The streaming service added 1.84 million users, a gain of 23%, placing it first among apps with the highest user growth.
ChatGPT recorded the second-largest increase, adding 890,000 users over the same period.
TVING also led entertainment apps in new installations for September, with 810,000 downloads. Short-form drama apps accounted for four of the top 10 entertainment apps by new installations, a group that includes DramaWave, NetShort, DramaBox and Freereels.
In mobile games, Roblox held the highest user count at 3.23 million. The report also lists Lineage M, Whiteout Survival, Royal Match, Brawl Stars, Pokemon Go, Block Blast, Zeus, Eclipse and Maple Grow among the tracked game titles.
