TXR Robotics shows autonomous mowers at Pocheon golf club
The demo featured a fully electric 3-gang mower and a 5-gang retrofit kit that lets existing golf course equipment run unmanned.
TXR Robotics demonstrated two autonomous lawn mower robots at Pureunsol Golf Club in Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province, on October 22, 2026, according to Venturesquare.
The Intelligent 3-gang lawn mower robot is a fully electric autonomous model fitted with a 1900mm reel cutter. The company states a work rate of 12,000 square meters per hour and up to 8 hours of operation on a 536Ah LFP battery.
The second unit, the 5-gang Retrofit Model, adds an autonomous driving kit to a golf course's existing mowing equipment without damaging it. Operators can switch between manual driving and unmanned autonomous mode, and TXR Robotics says the retrofit approach costs about one-third to one-half of buying new equipment.
Both models use 3D LiDAR SLAM combined with RTK and IMU for high-precision navigation. They are designed to work at night and in backlit conditions, and can be managed remotely from a cloud platform.
About 30 golf course officials and partner company representatives attended the demonstration. TXR Robotics has previously supplied robot automation, logistics automation, industrial cleaning robots and firefighting robots to industrial sites.
