TypeSafe AI Releases Jev 1.14.0 With Experimental Image Input

TypeSafe AI's Jev 1.14.0 adds danger-zone features including image input, bounding box output and 262k-token context, with output tokens free.

TypeSafe AI announced Jev 1.14.0, a new version of its System One Model automation AI series, on October 14, 2026, according to pc.watch.impress.co.jp. The model carries the ID jev-1.14.0 and is available through the alias jev-preview.

API pricing is set at 0.042 dollars per million input tokens, with output tokens free. The stable alias jev-latest will switch to jev-1.14.0 one week after the announcement, while the older jev-1.13.0 will continue to be offered for the time being.

Experimental 'danger zone' features

Jev 1.14.0 introduces experimental capabilities the company groups under 'danger zone' features, enabled through API headers. Image input works by including images in the JSON interface fields state, instructions and criteria, and is turned on with the TypeSafe-Danger-Zone-Images: true header. The same feature is also supported on jev-1.13.0.

A new 'box' type outputs a single bounding box and is available only on jev-1.14.0. Extended context of 262k tokens, covering both the whole request and each question, is enabled with the TypeSafe-Danger-Zone-Long-Context: true header, compared with the standard 64k per request and 32k per question. Extended context is also available on jev-1.13.0.
