Verizon Sets $10 Monthly Fee for Apple's iPhone Handoff

Verizon will charge $10 per month for iPhone Handoff, twice T-Mobile's $5 fee, while AT&T says it has no plans to support the iOS 27 feature.

Verizon confirmed on October 16, 2026 that it will charge $10 per month for Apple's iPhone Handoff feature, according to 9to5mac.com. The carrier said the feature will be available on compatible iPhones running iOS 27.

The $10 monthly charge is twice the $5 monthly fee T-Mobile has set for the same feature. T-Mobile's pricing was confirmed shortly after Apple's "Surprise and Shine" event last month, where the company said iPhone Handoff would initially be supported by T-Mobile and Deutsche Telekom.

Deutsche Telekom is offering the feature through its existing MultiSIM service at €6.95 per month, unless it is already included in the customer's plan.

AT&T is not joining the other carriers. The company told CNET last month that it had no plans to support iPhone Handoff, saying it is focused on existing eSIM activation and transfer options.

What iPhone Handoff does

Apple previewed iPhone Handoff at WWDC as an iOS 27 feature that lets users share a single phone number across two iPhones. Verizon named the iPhone Duo and the iPhone 18 Pro among the compatible models.
