vivo X Fold6 Goes Global as Amazon Unveils Alexa Tablets

The vivo X Fold6 arrives worldwide after its July China launch, while Amazon's new Alexa Tablet 12 Pro and 11 join the market.

The vivo X Fold6 is now available globally, with sales starting in October following its release in China in July, according to GSM Arena. The foldable joins a busy stretch of handset activity that also includes new tablet hardware from Amazon.

Amazon has unveiled its Alexa Tablets, introducing the Alexa Tablet 12 Pro and the Alexa Tablet 11. The 12 Pro runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset, offers a USB-C port with 5Gbps transfer speeds, and can be configured with optional Nanomatte glass.

The Alexa Tablet 11 uses a MediaTek MT8189 chipset with 8GB of RAM. It ships with lock screen ads that can be removed for a fee.

Existing models see price cuts

Elsewhere on the market, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is being sold for €940 for the 12/256GB model in select colors. The iPhone 17 carries a €100 discount on Amazon, a 9% reduction.

Those prices follow earlier promotions: during the Tuesday-Wednesday sale, the Galaxy S26 Ultra was €960 for a 12/256GB unit, and during the Prime Day sale the 512GB model was €1,015. Apple.com no longer sells the Pro models from the 2025 generation.
