vivo's new flagship packs a 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro, an 8,000mAh battery, and a 200MP 85mm telephoto. It hits Europe on October 27.
vivo has unveiled the X500 Pro Max, a premium flagship that sits below the company's Ultra model in its lineup. The phone is currently available in China and will arrive in Europe on October 27, with sales starting November 5.
At its core is a 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro SoC paired with up to 16GB of RAM. Power comes from an 8,000mAh battery, and the retail box includes the phone, a USB-A to USB-C cable, a 90W charger, and a case.
Camera system
The rear setup is led by a 50MP 1/1.28-inch main sensor with LOFIC technology behind a 24mm f/1.6 stabilized lens. It is joined by a 200MP 1/1.4-inch sensor with an 85mm f/2.7 zoom lens and a 50MP 1/2.75-inch ultrawide with a 15mm f/2.0 lens.
vivo also offers a Creator Kit with 18 accessories, including 2.35x and 4.7x teleconverters. A new Preview accessory is an external 4:3 display with three buttons that pairs over Bluetooth and can control the phone's cameras, continuing to work even when the phone is locked. The kit's camera bag appears to be made by Freewell and has two magnetically connected halves.
