WIRED is hosting a live-audience recording of its Uncanny Valley podcast in San Francisco, featuring a conversation between Paulina Borsook and WIRED global editorial director Katie Drummond, according to WIRED. The event will be available to watch via livestream.
The recording will also include a podcast panel with Brian Barrett and Zoë Schiffer, featuring Lauren Goode discussing her quest to find the most powerful woman in Silicon Valley.
Borsook's 2000 book Cyberselfish is being rereleased this fall, a title that examined the tech industry's political and cultural leanings.
Earlier this fall, WIRED published a special issue devoted to gender and power, a theme that runs through the live event's lineup.
