XDA launches XDB Builder PC-building tool in beta
The tool asks about build type and budget, checks compatibility and finds best prices, and can be reached at xdb.xda-developers.com.
XDA has launched XDB Builder, a tool for designing, optimizing and buying PC components. The site says the tool is now available in beta for public use, according to howtogeek.com.
XDB Builder asks users whether they want a new build or an upgrade, what kind of PC it is and their budget. It then offers compatibility checks and automated best-price finding.
The tool includes an "Ask AI" button for help choosing parts, and a "Not sure yet" option that picks parts from a written description and a budget. Builds can be saved, shared or replaced with preset builds made by XDA experts.
XDB Builder can be accessed at xdb.xda-developers.com, and XDA is asking users for feedback on the beta.
Rich Woods is Content Director of XDA and How-To Geek. How-To Geek said it is marking its 20th anniversary and that more news is coming.
