XYG unveils DUCE humanoid robot, pre-orders from $29,900
The social-intelligence robot was shown at the 2026 Industrial AI Expo and will be released at the end of December, with 10 units already in an Nvidia-linked training course.
XYG unveiled DUCE, a humanoid robot built on a social intelligence agent model, at the 2026 Industrial AI Expo and said the machine will go on sale at the end of December, according to inews24.com.
DUCE combines gestures, facial expressions and sound feedback in real time based on the context of a conversation. XYG's Gesture Studio and its robot intelligence framework BrainX generate the robot's expressions, and the company says DUCE implements more than 3,000 combinations of non-verbal expressions.
Pre-order prices are $29,900 for the DUCE body and $39,900 for Mobile DUCE, which adds a mobile base.
Training deployments first
XYG has supplied 10 DUCE units to a Physical AI Robotics training course opened in cooperation with Nvidia. The robots serve as a research and demonstration platform at an academy in Seongsu CF Tower in Seongsu-dong, Seoul. The company plans to pilot DUCE in commercial spaces such as retail stores and offices within the year.
Before DUCE, XYG operated barista robots and delivery robots in cafes and buildings, accumulating data from those deployments.
