Zebra Technologies wins three Red Dot Design Awards for 2026
The awards cover the TC501 and TC701 mobile computers, the WS301 and WS101 wearables and the DS82 series scanners, Zebra's Korean unit said.
Zebra Technologies has won three awards in the Product Design category at the Red Dot Design Award 2026, according to venturesquare.net. The awarded products are the TC501 and TC701 AI-based mobile computers with their charging ecosystem, the WS301 and WS101 wearable computers, and the DS82 series scanners.
The TC501 and TC701 combine on-device AI with short-range UHF RFID and use AMOLED displays. The DS82 series scanners feature a 2-megapixel optical system, multifunction buttons and RFID for inventory checks.
The healthcare variant, the DS82-HC, uses a disinfectant-resistant housing, a sealed inductive trigger and an antibacterial label.
On the wearable side, the WS301 is a standalone device that supports voice-command work and product information lookup. The WS101 is a compact communication badge that pairs with existing mobile computers for hands-free voice functions and includes a dedicated emergency call button.
The Red Dot Design Award is an international design prize now in its 72nd year. Zebra said it has received the award several times over the past decade.
