Asian Academy Creative Awards、18カ国・地域から335のnational winnersを選出

Asian Academy Creative Awardsは、18のnations and territoriesにわたる39のcategoriesで335のnational winnersを選出したと発表した。これらのnational winnersはinternational roundへ進み、grand winnersはDecemberにSingaporeのCapitol Theatreで行われるgala finalで発表される。

Chinese Mainlandでは『シャドウズ・エッジ』がBest Feature Filmを受賞。Indiaでは『Subedaar』がBest Feature Filmを獲得した。『The Lead』は6つのcategoriesで勝利し、Liu HaocunがBest Actress in a Leading Roleに輝いた。Bai YuはChinese MainlandのBest Actor in a Leading Roleに選ばれた。

company countではMediacorpが23 winsで首位。Prime Video IndiaとAstro Malaysiaがそれぞれ19 wins、CNNが15 winsを記録した。Japanでは『Song of the Samurai』が5つのcategoriesで受賞し、『今際の国のアリス』がBest Drama Seriesを獲得。Malaysiaでは『Good Boys Go to Heaven』が5つのawardsを受賞し、Best Actorとdrama series prizeを含む。『Malam Terlarang』はBest Feature Filmを含む4つのcategoriesで勝利し、Sofia JaneがBest Actress in a Supporting Role、Norhanisham bin MuhammadがBest Direction (Feature Film)を受賞した。

Singaporeでは『The Violinist』がBest Feature Film、Best Animation、Best Screenplayを獲得。Ayden Sngが『Double Helix』でBest Actor in a Leading Role (Singapore)に選ばれた。TaiwanではPTSが『Dogman』で4 winsを挙げ、Best Drama SeriesとChang Hsiao Chuan、Tarcy Suのacting honorsを含む。Thailandでは『Enigma Black Stage』が4つのThai winsを獲得。Gemini Norawit Titicharoenrakが『Ticket to Heaven』でBest Actor、Manatsanun Phanlerdwongsakulが『Sweet Dreams』でBest Actressを受賞した。

その他の受賞には、『Legend of the Magnate』のBest Drama Series、『Swords Into Plowshares』の4 wins、『The Family Man』Season 3の4 wins、『NUMBERS 天才数学者の事件ファイル』関連の言及はないが、『The Family Man』の受賞が含まれる。PhilippinesではVice Gandaがtie-breaker roundを経て『Call Me Mother』でBest Actorを獲得し、Nadine Lustreが『Love, Siargao』で進出。Refinery Mediaは『Man of the Hour』で3つのcategoriesを受賞した。Kristie Lu StoutはCNNのBest Factual Presenter (Thailand)に選ばれ、Wei DuはCNAの『Walk the Line: ICE Nation』で評価された。

Awards chairのBeverley McGarveyは、entry numbersが昨年と同水準だったと述べた。今年のjurorsは38 countriesから参加している。variety.comが報じた。
