Bandai Bundles Cure Arcana Transformation Rods in Special Set
The set combines the Shine Arcana Rod and Tear Arcana Rod, releasing November 14; pricing for the bundle is not yet announced.
Bandai's Precure toy website announced on November 8 a special set for the series Detective Precure! that bundles the transformation rods for Cure Arcana and Cure Arcana Shadow. The set, named Mawashite Henshin! Cure Arcana Special Set, will be released on November 14, according to news.denfaminicogamer.jp.
The bundle pairs the Mawashite Henshin! Tear Arcana Rod, the role-play toy for Cure Arcana Shadow, with the Mawashite Henshin! Shine Arcana Rod, the role-play toy for Cure Arcana. Both rods allow players to recreate the transformation and purification techniques of both forms of the character who becomes both Precures.
The price of the special set has not been revealed at the time of writing. The two rods were previously sold separately, priced at 6,600 yen and 7,480 yen including tax respectively.
The announcement follows the broadcast of episode 40, Ruruka's Answer, which aired shortly before the special set was revealed. The episode featured the character debating her past mistakes and showed Cure Arcana Shadow for the first time since episode 30. In the story, she once belonged to the phantom thief group Phantom as Cure Arcana Shadow and opposed the detectives.
