Cygames to reimburse travel costs after cancelled LA Uma Musume show
Fans who booked flights or hotels for the cancelled Los Angeles performance can also claim cancellation fees, with receipts required.
Cygames announced on October 21, 2026 that it will reimburse travel and accommodation costs for fans who had planned to attend the cancelled Uma Musume: Pretty Derby World Tour performance in Los Angeles, according to inven.co.kr.
The company said cancellation fees for flights or lodging bookings cancelled because of the show's cancellation will be fully reimbursed. Attendees who had already arrived in Los Angeles can also be reimbursed for qualifying actual transportation and accommodation costs incurred within the target period.
Reimbursement requires receipts and payment proof showing the purpose and total amount of payment. Cygames said the application procedure will be published on the 7th World Tour official website once the details are finalised.
The Los Angeles dates were part of Uma Musume Pretty Derby 7th EVENT WORLD TOUR THE STAGE, the franchise's first world tour concert, and had been scheduled for the 22nd and 23rd at the Peacock Theater during the October 2026 run. Seventeen voice actors, including performers for characters such as Tokai Teio, Oguri Cap and Kitasan Black, had been set to appear.
Cygames had worked on visa applications for more than six months with US lawyers and a promoter but did not receive approval before the shows, and cancelled the performances after the visas could not be secured. The company had already promised full refunds for venue and online streaming tickets.
