Dr. Wu Reveals Micromaster Grimlock That Combines Into Volcanicus
Dr. Wu's DW-E63 T-Rex is a 2.8-inch Grimlock that forms Volcanicus, with a Shattered Glass variant and Shockwave pre-order bonus.
Third-party maker Dr. Wu is adding a new Grimlock to its Micromaster-scale lineup. The DW-E63 T-Rex stands about 2.8 inches tall in robot mode and transforms into a robotic Tyrannosaurus Rex, and it also serves as the core of the Dinobot combiner Volcanicus.
Robot mode accessories include a sword, a gun and a crown, giving the tiny figure a full set of display options. A second version, DW-E63M T-Rex, swaps the standard colors for dark grey, purple and light blue based on the Shattered Glass evil Grimlock and Decepticon Trypticon.
Pre-orders come with a bonus Shockwave drone inspired by the Generation 1 cartoon. The drone is colored red and black to match the Shattered Glass version.
DW-E63 T-Rex is planned for release around December 2026, though some U.S. retailer listings such as BigBadToyStore show February 2027. CBR reported the details.
