The production committee for The Fake Alchemist has released a promotional video and unveiled the cast and staff for the upcoming anime adaptation. Studio Passione is handling animation duties.
Miyari Nemoto voices Nora, while Youhei Matsuoka voices Paracelsus. Takeo Takahashi serves as chief director, with Hijiri Sanapei directing. Kenta Ihara oversees series composition, Luka Standridge composes the music, and Yuka Takashina designs the characters.
The story follows Paracelsus, who reincarnates in the city-state of Orichalconia. There he buys a shaman slave-girl named Nora and attempts to save Coco, an elf who has lost her senses and limbs.
The anime adapts the manga written by Jiro Sugiura and illustrated by Umemaru, a remake of Sugiura's webcomic originally published on Pixiv. KadoComi and Nico Nico Seiga have serialized the manga since its June 2023 debut, and Kadokawa has collected the chapters into five tankobon volumes. Yen Press began publishing the English edition in August 2025.
