Frieren Season 3 Set for October 2027, Golden Land Arc Confirmed

Frieren: Beyond Journey's End has confirmed that its third season will adapt the Golden Land Arc and arrive in October 2027. The announcement came during a Season 2 screening event attended by the anime's main voice cast.

The event also unveiled a special visual marking the third anniversary of the anime's first broadcast, which began in September 2023. The artwork shows Frieren, Stark, and Fern gathered around a large hamburger, with the original Hero Party reflected in a window behind them.

The series adapts the manga written by Kanehito Yamada with illustrations by Tsukasa Abe. It has run in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday since April 2020 and is available through Sunday Webry, Viz Media, and the Shogakukan Comic website.

Studio MADHOUSE produces the adaptation, with Keiichiro Saito directing the first season and Tomoya Kitagawa taking over the second. Tomohiro Suzuki handled series composition, Reiko Nagasawa served as character designer, and Yuri Fujinaka, Reiko Nagasawa, and Maru Takase led chief animation direction. Evan Call composed the music, and Crunchyroll streams the anime.
