Gundam canvas bags from STRICT-G JAPAN open pre-orders October 29

STRICT-G JAPAN has released a canvas bag series designed with Gundam and Char's Zaku II motifs, made with Kyoto bag maker Ichizawa Shinzaburo Hanpu, according to animeanime.jp. Pre-orders opened on Premium Bandai at 13:00 on October 29, 2026, and run until 23:00 on November 15, 2026.
General sales begin on October 31, 2026 at STRICT-G stores in Odaiba, Tokyo Solamachi, NEOPASA Shizuoka (downbound) and Taga SA (downbound). Each bag costs 25,300 yen, tax included, with shipping and fees charged separately. Shipping is scheduled for November 2026.
Three designs in cotton canvas
The lineup includes three types: a horizontal bag with a Gundam wave pattern, a vertical Gundam pattern and a vertical Char's Zaku II pattern. The horizontal bag measures 30 cm tall, 46/37 cm wide at the top and bottom, and 9 cm deep, with a handle about 55 cm long. The two vertical bags measure 35 cm tall, 36/27 cm wide and 9 cm deep, with a handle about 58 cm long. All are made of cotton canvas.
Ichizawa Shinzaburo Hanpu has continued bag making for over 100 years at its workshop in Higashiyama, Kyoto, with every cutting and sewing step done by hand by specialist craftsmen. STRICT-G JAPAN is the label created to spread the appeal of Japanese product design.
