Masaki Andō's comedy manga Mojiponika! will end in Afternoon magazine on November 25, according to Anime News Network. Kodansha published the manga's third compiled volume on August 21.
The series centers on Tsumugu, the son of an embroidery shop owner, and Gina, a foreign exchange student with a passion for kanji and yakuza films.
Andō launched Mojiponika! in Afternoon in May 2025, and Kodansha published the first compiled volume in October 2025.
Andō is also known for Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki, which he launched in Ichijinsha's Comic Rex magazine in May 2016. That series ended in September 2022, and Ichijinsha published its 13th and final volume in December 2022.

In March 2017, the title character of Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki was appointed as a Nagoya Tourism Cultural Exchange Mission Ambassador.
