Reincarnated as a Sword Season 2 has released a new trailer and a second key visual, both teasing an arc set in the port of Seedrun, according to Crunchyroll. The series is currently broadcasting in Japan.
Five new cast members were also revealed: Satsuki Kokubu as Fult, Yurie Kozakai as Satia, Hazuki Ogino as Miriam, Sayumi Suzushiro as Serimea and Katsuyuki Konishi as Varuza.
Shinji Ishihira directs the anime at studio C2C, with Kazunobu Shimizu as assistant director. Takahiro Nagano handles series composition and scripts, Atsuko Saito is character designer and chief animation director, and Yasuharu Takanashi (Team-MAX) composes the music.
The anime adapts the light novels by Yuu Tanaka. Season 2 premiered in October 2026, and the original novels ran on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website from October 2015 to February 2024. Micro Magazine has published the print edition, illustrated by Llo, under its GC Novels imprint since July 2016, with 21 volumes out in Japan so far. Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the series in English, and HIDIVE streams the anime.
