SPYAIR will return to Europe for the first time in eight years on the SPYAIR EUROPE TOUR 2026, which opens on October 30 and stops in Vienna, Paris, Eindhoven, Frankfurt, London and Milan, according to animecorner.me. The band is promoting the tour alongside its album BEST OF ANIME.
BEST OF ANIME collects the group's recent anime songs together with re-recorded versions of their classic anime themes, and is available on all major streaming platforms. Among its tracks is 'Awake,' the opening theme for The Exiled Heavy Knight Knows How to Game the System.
Haikyu!! ties and a record
SPYAIR's connection to Haikyu!! dates back to 2014, when the band provided 'Imagination' for the anime's first season. Over the following six years it wrote three Haikyu!! theme songs: 'Imagination,' 'I'm a Believer' and 'One Day.'
In 2023, YOSUKE had just joined SPYAIR when the band received the offer to create the theme song for Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle. That song, 'Orange,' went on to become SPYAIR's most-streamed track.
The quartet — vocalist YOSUKE, guitarist and programmer UZ, bassist MOMIKEN and drummer KENTA — has also written a theme song for a sports university in Japan and one for the B.LEAGUE, the country's professional basketball league.
