Abelina, a surreal platformer set in a nature-filled afterlife of the same name, has been revealed with a planned 2027 release, according to Rock Paper Shotgun. A Steam wishlist page for the game is now open.
Players control Vasily, a man who died a while ago and now tends gardens and carves masks. The game features flying, rolling, precise jumps, branching paths and a mysterious rabbit-cat guide.
The project is led by Gabe Askew, who has previously worked on CG cinematics for Valorant and League of Legends.
The soundtrack is being composed by Ryan Holladay, whose previous credits include Weapons and the recent Resident Evil movie.
