Ace Combat 8 Ver.1.01.002 Update and Online Maintenance Set for November 2
Bandai Namco confirmed the rescheduled patch will roll out around 15:00, with Ace Combat Online maintenance running until 17:00.
Bandai Namco Entertainment has confirmed that the Ver.1.01.002 update for ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE will roll out from around 15:00 on November 2, 2026, with maintenance for the online mode ACE COMBAT ONLINE scheduled from 15:00 to 17:00 the same day, according to gamespark.jp.
The patch adjusts difficulty for the enemy aircraft in MISSION 15 on ELITE difficulty and above, and changes the flare limit for the enemy unit in MISSION 28.
Several bugs are also addressed: a freeze in MISSION 10 that occurred after landing on the carrier, and a progression block in MISSION 30 where the TGT HULL could not be destroyed.
The schedule follows an earlier postponement. On October 23, 2026, Bandai Namco put back the update and maintenance, citing the response status to system-related incidents affecting the whole industry, after saying on October 22, 2026 that the timetable might be adjusted.
