Aetas launches Game*Shelf Steam library tool for free

The web service lets Steam users tag, track and sort their libraries, with price alerts and Discord notifications.

Aetas launched Game*Shelf, a free web service for Steam users, on November 5, according to inside-games.jp. The service lets users link their Steam account to list and organise the games they own.

Game*Shelf supports user-created custom tags that can be applied to titles, including a batch-tagging feature for applying a tag to several games at once. A wishlist section shows prices and sale information, and users can set a target price for each title.

Notifications are sent when a target price is reached, when the lowest price recorded on Game*Shelf is updated, and when Japanese language support is added to a game. Alerts can also be delivered through Discord integration.

The service includes a reporting function for incorrect information and lets users share whether Japanese localisation mods exist for titles without official Japanese support. It also displays total play time and play time broken down by title and genre, along with an estimated library value based on game price information.

Additional features include a recommendation function for posting comments about titles to people who played a given game, a memo tool for recording impressions, and options for sharing play time and favourite titles on social media.

Aetas states that Game*Shelf is not an official service of Valve Corporation or Steam.
