NCSoft launches Drakhan update for Aion Remake

The update adds two new worlds, the first playable dragon race, the Lunadium dungeon and the Ishalgen of the Beginning field.

NCSoft applied Drakhan, the first large-scale update for Aion Remake, on October 21, according to game.donga.com. The update adds the new worlds Drakhan 1 and Drakhan 2, a new playable race, instance dungeons and fields, and a set of system improvements.

The two new worlds opened at 7 p.m. on the same day. Drakhan is the game's first playable dragon race, and it switches between a humanoid form that uses dragon orbs for magic attacks and a dragon form built for area attacks. With the addition, Aion Remake now has 14 classes in total.

New dungeon and field

The top-tier instance dungeon Lunadium was added, where parties can receive reward boxes based on boss battle progress even if they fail the run. The timed field Ishalgen of the Beginning was also added to the Drakhan and Daeva worlds.

The update further removes entry limits for some dungeons, adjusts class balance for the Katara Arena, adds new travel points, refunds 100% of enchantment stones when disassembling inherited gear, and makes flight unlimited.
