Airport Contraband launches on Steam as customs officer sim

DRAGO Entertainment's first-person simulator casts players as a rookie customs officer in the fictional state of Kaldorada.

DRAGO Entertainment has released Airport Contraband, a first-person simulator about working as a customs officer, on Steam. The game launched on October 29, 2026, according to gamemeca.com.

It is set in Kaldorada, a fictional authoritarian country ruled by a "Great Leader", where players inspect passengers, baggage and cargo while enforcing regulations that change as they go. Rules can be rewritten on the Great Leader's orders, making individual items or whole categories illegal without warning.

The tools on hand range from ID checks, baggage and clothing searches and X-ray scanners to lie detectors, cranes, hammers, knives, crowbars and UV lamps. Suspects may try to bribe the officer or run, in which case a taser is needed to stop them, and players also take on cartel missions that clash with their official duties.

Each run in Airport Contraband follows a single employee: being fired or exhausting the cartel's patience ends that career, but progress carries over to the next hire. The Dream Workers Company supplies replacements, and Dream Coins earned in long shifts pay for permanent upgrades. Every two days, players also pick a new "pass" that permanently adds mechanics and problems to the current run.

DRAGO Entertainment CEO Joanna Tinor said the team wanted a simulator where every shift can go wrong in new ways.
