Atelier Series' Caria Entry to Add Snacking-Linked Appearance Change
Gust's latest Atelier title will let protagonist Caria's look shift with how much she snacks, and the feature can be toggled off or locked to a chosen form.
Gust and Koei Tecmo Games have decided to add an appearance change feature to their latest Atelier series title, in which the protagonist's look changes according to how much she snacks, according to 4Gamer.net. The protagonist is Caria, an adventurer who has lost her memories.
The feature can be switched on or off in the options, and snacking itself remains possible even when it is turned off. Players who keep it on can also lock Caria into a preferred form and continue playing in that appearance.
Alongside the feature, the developers confirmed a "Dark Girly" costume and a special short story themed around "Caria's food crawl." A survey tied to the announcements drew more than 38,000 responses.
Answers to the top three developer questions by vote count will be published later on the official X account's article feature. On the official website's store bonus page, some of the newly drawn illustrations by the artist handling those bonuses have been updated to their final versions.
