Becastled DLC Traits and Some Magic adds 40-plus traits and mage units
The DLC also brings Mages and Clerics, recruited from a new Mage School, as players pick one of three traits every few days.
The developers of Becastled have detailed the Traits and Some Magic DLC, which adds a system of more than 40 traits along with two new unit types, according to news.xbox.com. Players choose one of Three traits every few days and again after a Blood Moon.
Traits are split into Common, Uncommon and Rare rarities, and rarer options are more likely to appear after a Blood Moon. The DLC also introduces Mages and Clerics, both recruitable from the new Mage School building.
Among the traits named in the announcement are Master of the Bow, Manifest Destiny, Glass Cannon and Blood Money. The existing Swordsmen unit remains part of the roster.
The developers said traits are balanced through internal playtests and formulas kept in Google Sheets. They also confirmed that some features initially planned for the DLC had to be postponed.
