Bless You Again Dev Plans Full-Version Changes After Demo Draws 2,000 Players

Gino says attack impact, camera options and bug fixes are in the works for the Steam game's full release, following demo feedback.

Developer Gino has announced planned improvements for the full version of Bless You Again, based on feedback from the game's demo, according to gamespark.jp. The demo was played by more than 2,000 players within two days of its release.

In the near term, the studio plans camera sensitivity and movement speed options, a one-button camera reset that places the view behind the character, and bug fixes.

Gino is also testing hit stop, hit effects and a white flash on hit for enemies to improve the feel of attacks, and says footage will be shown so players can give feedback.

The developer addressed one point of confusion around the game's presentation: cutscenes run at 24 frames per second as a stylistic choice meant to resemble cel animation, not because of a PC performance issue.

For the full version, Gino plans to add skills and blessings to widen build variety, introduce out-of-run growth, rebalance difficulty, improve enemy visibility and attack telegraphs, revise enemy AI, and add and adjust sound effects and BGM.

Bless You Again is in development for PC via Steam. A release date and price will be announced soon, and the demo is free.
