Blizzard Reworks Skyborne Models in World of Warcraft: Forever
Blizzard says redesigned HD Skyborne player models now feature harsher feather and fur lines and muted colors, with SD versions due early next year.
Blizzard has published a blog post promising a retro visual makeover for the Skyborne race in World of Warcraft: Forever. The redesigned HD Skyborne player models feature harsher lines in feathers and fur, and muted colors instead of a bright light blue gradient.
Updated SD (low-fidelity) Skyborne models will arrive in early next year, according to the post. Blizzard said it will share another update on the models and their SD druid forms when they are closer to finished.
The change follows the first images of how the Skyborne will look, which Blizzard gave in November. The Skyborne are a faction of High Elves that resemble the Blood Elves from The Burning Crusade expansion, and unlocking them costs $30.
World of Warcraft: Forever launches in November and exits beta on November 4, according to pcgamer.com.
