Bombservice has announced Record of Dorathia, a turn-based dungeon crawler with anime-style pixel graphics, for Steam, according to cbr.com. A release date was not disclosed.
The game centers on a four-member party and a job class system. The announced classes are Blademaster, Monk, Witch, Hunter, Dark Knight, Oathkeeper, Cleric, and Oracle.
Record of Dorathia also includes a Willpower system: stacking three points grants a free, strengthened attack point.
The studio stated that no AI will be used in the development of the game. Bombservice also plans to release an official gameplay trailer in the future.
Earlier versions of the concept
In 2019, Record of Dorathia initially took form as a digital gamebook, and it was later briefly experimented with as a tabletop RPG before being abandoned. In 2024, Bombservice returned to the concept, the same year Momodora: Moonlit Farewell launched on Steam.
