Bulkhead Postpones Wardogs Devlog on Season 2 and Season 3

The studio says it wants to get the information right before committing to camera, with Wardogs Season 3 still set for November 12.

Bulkhead has postponed its planned Wardogs devlog that was to combine a Season 2 reflection with a Season 3 preview, according to PCGamesN. The video was originally announced last week.

Community manager Brian 'L0ssy' McCrann said the studio wants to get the information right before committing to camera. Bulkhead said the extra time is intended to build a stable foundation for Season 3 and beyond.

Wardogs Season 3 is currently scheduled for Thursday, November 12, 2026. The season will introduce limited servers that restrict players to early-to-midgame gear, stripping high-rank armor, power weapons, tanks and artillery.

Bulkhead also plans to extend the availability of gold Skins because Season 2 ran shorter than usual.

Podcast addressed Season 2 launch

Last weekend, four key members of the Wardogs team held a podcast about the Season 2 launch, what went wrong and the decision to bring Season 3 forward. In it, executive producer Joe Brammer said the team had to slow down and admitted it panicked in reversing its policy of putting core gameplay fundamentals ahead of new content. Creative director Tim Nightingale said moving Season 3's start forward put a sour taste in people's mouths.
