A report cited by MP1st claims that Bloober Team's remake of Silent Hill 1 is aiming for a 2027 release, according to Screen Rant. The same report names Gabrielle Fritz and Jade Matthew as attached to the project, though their roles are listed as undetermined.
Neither Bloober Team nor Konami, the publisher and rights holder of the Silent Hill franchise, has made an official announcement about the reported release window. The 2027 timing and the personnel attached should therefore be treated as rumor rather than confirmed details.
The original Silent Hill launched on January 31, 1999, for the PlayStation, following protagonist Harry Mason through the town's fog-covered streets.
Bloober Team previously handled the Silent Hill 2 remake, which launched in 2024. Konami has since released Silent Hill f in 2025 and Silent Hill: Townfall in 2026.
