Cities: Skylines 2 Park Adventures DLC Announced for End of 2026
Iceflake Studios also plans a leisure system rework that will be free for all Cities: Skylines 2 players.
Iceflake Studios has announced Park Adventures, a new Cities: Skylines 2 DLC planned for release by the end of 2026. The developer outlined the expansion in a community update reported by PCGamesN.
Park Adventures lets players build amusement parks, zoos, city parks and nature reserves, using freely combinable buildings, facilities and rides.
The studio is also reworking the leisure system in Cities: Skylines 2. The rework will be available to all players whether or not they own Park Adventures. Distance will become a less defining factor in citizens' destination choices, so crowded destinations may be avoided in favour of slightly farther ones.
The reworked system adds interactive props through a new 'Divert logic' concept, allowing citizens to stop and use suitable props they encounter during travel.
According to the studio, plenty of visual and other improvements to the base game are also planned beyond parks.
Studio change
Iceflake Studios took over development of Cities: Skylines 2 from Colossal Order and is approaching a year in charge.
