CoA: Atlan's Crystal launches Ghost in the Shell crossover

The collaboration with Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex adds a Section 9 story, a four-player Tachikoma dungeon and a limited Motoko Kusanagi pet.

CoA: Atlan's Crystal, the action RPG from Nuverse, began a collaboration with the anime Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex on October 28, according to gamemeca.com.

The collaboration adds a dedicated story in which Section 9 detects an unidentified anomaly in Atlan. It also introduces a collaboration dungeon called Mock Battle Area, in which four players each control a Tachikoma and shoot rivals to collect Ultimate Gears and upgrade it. Losing to another player drops part of the collected Ultimate Gears, and the final ranking grants items such as Special-Grade Prosthetic Body and Neural Chip.

The collaboration events include "Abyss of Memories" and "Tactical Consultation". Motoko Kusanagi is available as a limited pet, and the Tachikoma as a mount with five paint options.

The same update raises the character max level to 80 and adds the new adventure chapter "Hymn of Salvation", the new map "Ice Canyon Cathedral" and new equipment. Event content includes the "Journey Recollection" puzzle and a boss called Pumpkin Demon King.

Ghost in the Shell originates from Masamune Shirow's 1989 manga The Ghost in the Shell, while Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex is a TV anime that aired in 2002, set in 2030 and following the activities of Section 9.
