CRYSTAR Switch hits 288 yen in 8th-anniversary sale

Furyu began an 8th-anniversary sale for CRYSTAR on October 18, 2026, offering the Nintendo Switch version at 95% off for 288 yen including tax, according to automaton-media.com. The publisher says this is the lowest price the title has ever been sold at.
The Switch discount runs until 23:59 on November 9, 2026. Sales for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Steam versions are planned for a later date at 500 yen.
Alongside the discount, Furyu is running an 8th-anniversary campaign on X. Users who follow the official account and meet the campaign conditions enter a lottery for a B2 cloth poster or an acrylic stand.
From PS4 debut to anniversary discounts
CRYSTAR first released for PlayStation 4 in October 2018, with ports following the original version. At the time of writing, Steam user reviews stood at 76% positive out of 1412 reviews, giving the game a "Mostly Positive" status.
Earlier discounts have priced the game well below its standard cost: in April a sale offered the Steam version at 310 yen.
The anniversary sale follows a May 2026 post in which Furyu said it sincerely accepts that many people feel its games have good worlds and atmosphere but uncertain gameplay feel.
