Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 2.5 Adds Edgerunners 2 Quest and Dual-Wielding
The October 22 update adds the Clampdown side quest, a prequel to the Netflix anime, plus arm cyberware customization and the Double Trouble perk.
Cyberpunk 2077 received Patch 2.5 on October 22, an update built around the Netflix anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, according to Game*Spark.
The headline addition is "Clampdown", a new side quest that serves as a prequel to Edgerunners 2. It unlocks after players clear the main job and complete two of the fixer Wakako's requests. Rewards include a five-piece outfit themed on King and King's gun, Byura CORONATION.
Cyberware styling and dual-wielding
The patch also introduces Gramdoc, which lets players customize the appearance of arm cyberware such as Mantis Blades, Gorilla Arms, Monowire and Projectile Launcher. Gramdoc has five stores in Night City, marked by spray icons on the map. A new Double Trouble perk in the Body/Willpower skill tree allows dual-wielding power pistols and revolvers.
The update further adds a new radio station, new tarot cards, Photo Mode frames, cross-platform mods and a new quest titled "WELCOME TO PARADISE". Cyberpunk 2077 supports Nintendo Switch 2.
An earlier Edgerunners update, released in 2022, also brought an anime-related quest to the game.
